
Chana masala
This rich, flavourful, chickpea curry is an easy on pot meal
Serves 4
Ingredients
1 Onion
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tsp Garam Masala
0.5 tsp Ground Coriander
0.5 tsp Ground Turmeric
0.25 tsp Ground Cardomom
0.25 tsp Cayenne Pepper
Garlic
Ginger
1 Tin Tomatoes
1.5 Tins Chickpeas
Fresh Coriander
Lemon Juice
Rice
Method
Fry the onion
Add the spices, then stir in the garlic and ginger
Add the tomatoes and simmer for 10 mins
Add the chickpeas and 1/4 cup of water, simmer for 20-25 mins
Stir in the coriander and lemon juice
Serve with rice
